|
| William Adelbert Dolwick was born and raised in Ohio. He attended the
Cleveland Institute of Art where he received the Gotwalt Scholarship
for a painting of his grandfather. He matriculated at the Slade School
of Art for two years. When he returned from England, he envisioned
selling his portraits. He didn't sell very many, so he became an
illustrator and worked for Illustration House, a company in New York.
After several years he was elected into the New York Socie (showing 500 of 1215 characters). |
