| | Born in San Francisco, CA on Jan. 13, 1906. Dohrmann studied at the CSFA, New York School of Fine Arts, and in Paris at Académie de la Grande Chaumière. A lifelong resident of the San Francisco Bay area, he died in Mill Valley on Sept. 16, 1989.
