| | Born in Russia on April 10, 1894. Eremin moved to California in 1922. While a resident of Sacramento and later Berkeley, for 36 years he worked as a civil engineer for the State Division of Highways while painting in his leisure. He died in Berkeley on Aug. 2, 1971.
