|  Arnold Englander (1877-1963)
Landscape painter. Born in Austria on Jan. 14, 1877. Englander immigrated to the U.S. in 1885. By 1900 he was a post office clerk in St Louis, Missouri. During 1904-20 he was working as an artist in Cleveland, Ohio. By 1930 he had changed his birth place to Ohio and owned a drygoods store in Bonham, Texas. While based there, he painted in Yosemite in 1936. He died in November 1963.
