David Ericson was a student of William Merritt Chase and Kenyon Cox at the Art Students League in New York. He also lived and painted in Paris, France, for a period of time and studied under James McNeil Whistler and Rene Francois Xavier Prinet.
David Ericson was a member of the Provincetown Art Association.
His honors include: Gold Medal, Paris; Silver Medal, St Louis World's Fair; Honorable Mention, Carnegie Institute, International Expo; 1904 1st prize, Minnesota Art Expo, St (showing 500 of 1656 characters). |
