Barbara Erdman was born in New York City on January 30, 1936. As a teenager, she attended art classes for three years at the Art Student''s League. She received her B.F.A. from Cornell University. Subsequently she studied Chinese Calligraphy at the Chinese Institute; classical stained glass with master guildsman, August Anni; and tapestry weaving with Alice Adams.
During this time she also conducted a graphics workshop in her loft in New York City, working with Red Grooms, Mimi Gr (showing 500 of 2361 characters). |
