A printmaker and educator, Bruce Elliott was known for his "formal and classical manner, using letters and collage techniques in balanced figure and landscape compositions; his imagery included floating grid-like shapes surrounded by soft rich colors." (158). He lived in Spencer, Massachusetts.
Elliott served as chairman of the department art, Kings Park High School, New York City, 1965-67; co-chairman Graduate Art Association at the University Maryland, College Park, 1968-69. (showing 500 of 1637 characters). |
