| | Born in California on Nov. 16, 1880. After studying at the Mark Hopkins Art Institute, Eager worked in the art department of the San Francisco Chronicle in 1903-04. Abandoning his art career, he then worked for 50 years as a supervisor for the Dept of Interior. In 1936 he moved south to Glendale where he remained until his demise on April 12, 1965.
