| | Born in Columbus Grove, OH on March 20, 1900. Early graduated from Ohio State University with a degree in architecture in 1925. He then bought a Model-T Ford and made his way to California. There he found work on the damaged Santa Barbara Mission. About 1929 he settled in Sacramento where from 1929 until retirement in 1960 he built one-room schoolhouses all over rural California. Upon retirement, he moved to the Monterey Peninsula and settled in Carmel Valley. He died there on Aug. 16, 1992. Member: Calif. WC Society; Carmel AA.
