| | Born in Stayton, OR on March 4, 1888. Evans studied at the Spokane Art League under Helen Rhodes and in Los Angeles at the Chouinard and Otis Art Institutes under MacDonald-Wright and Feitelson. A surrealist, she was active in both Los Angeles and Laguna Beach from the early 1930s. Her subjects indicate that she traveled in France. Evans died in England in April 1967. Exh: Calif.
