Ferdinand W. Ellington (1894-1974): Painter, commercial artist, and fashion designer.
Born in Kingston, Jamaica, British West Indies, Ferdinand W. Ellington immigrated to the United States at the age of 18. He arrived at Ellis Island on January 1st, 1913, and established residence in the Jamaica-St. Albans area of Queens, New York.
