| | Born in Colfax, WA on Aug. 11, 1905. English studied at the Cornish School in Seattle and at the CSFA. She was a resident of San Francisco from the mid-1930s to 1941. About 1940 she married Frank Woessner and settled in Seattle, WA. She maintained a studio in her home there until her demise on Dec. 24, 1997.
