This biography from the Archives of AskART:
| Doing work so minutely detailed it defies the eye, he had a special exhibition of his drawings in December 1998 at Hosfelt Gallery in San Francisco. He made tiny, endlessly repetive rectangular marks in ink on paper, giving the impression of tiny cells. He works without magnification in nine-minute stints to give his eyes a rest. Viewed from a distance, the works appear rhythmic and silvery. |
