Kathleen Elsey is a colorist who works in plein air in California, the Southwest, Mexico and Europe. She grew up in Ohio where she studied fine arts at Bowling Green State University. She moved to California in 1973 and established a very successful career in design and advertising in San Francisco. She now resides in Santa Barbara and concentrates full time on her fine art career.
As a colorist she is influenced by the fauvists, especially Vincent Van Gogh and the Calif (showing 500 of 1430 characters). |
