Laura J. Eden, born 1958 in Hartford, Connecticut.
As a child she studied privately with her grandmother, Louise Powers Slayden, who was an accomplished artist in her own right. She was educated at Syracuse University and the University of Connecticut, and received her BFA from the latter in 1980. Subsequently she did graduate work at the Hartford Art School.
Eden has been a member of both the Connecticut Watercolor Society (where she has served as an officer and on (showing 500 of 1249 characters). |
