The following information was submitted in September of 2006 by Richard Worth: A life-long Hartford resident, she studied with William Merritt Chase and Charles Noel Flagg at the Connecticut League of Art Students. She exhibited at the National Academy of Design from 1891 to 1897, the Pennsylvania Academy in 1896-97, and the Art Institute of Chicago in 1907, 1911, and 1913. She was an active member of the Connecticut Academy of Fine Arts and the Women Painters and Sculptors of Hartford, wh (showing 500 of 874 characters). |
