Born in Mifflinburg, PA on Dec. 30, 1876. Mary was the wife of Harry G. Everett. After studying with Wm M. Chase, Furzeman, and Hawthorne, she was active in Des Moines, IA. In 1919 she settled in southern California with her daughter, Louise. Maintaining residences in Los Angeles and Laguna Beach, she exhibited locally and was active as an artist until her death in Los Angeles on June 28, 1948. She authored the book, Universal Wave Lengths which dealt with her own theories of creation. Member: Artland Club; Laguna Beach AA; AFA. Exh: Calif. Art Club, 1920-38; Painters & Sculptors of LA, 1924, 1931; West Coast Arts, 1925; Hollywood Woman’s Club, 1928; LACMA, 1929; Pasadena Art Inst., 1930; Women Painters of the West (LA), 1929-35.
