| Mike Evans was born 1945 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He attended Oklahoma University and graduated in 1967 with a BBA degree and in 1971 with a J.D. For the next 30 years he was CEO of the Evans Companies located in Oklahoma City. During this time he began studying art and apprenticed with Tasso Pitsiri, a classically trained Greek sculptor. Evans spent the summers of 1992 and 1993 studying with Martine Vaugel in Angus, France. He now resides in Santa Fe, New Mexico where he sculpts full-time.< (showing 500 of 1052 characters). |
