Millard Everingham's name is Millard D. Everingham, D. standing for Donald. He always went by Donald Everingham, not Millard. His father's name was Millard.
Donald, a painter of floral watercolors, was born September 8, 1912 and died in an apartment alone in Syracuse, New York on February 6, 1951. He is buried in a cemetery in Manlius, New York.
He served in World War II and was stationed in Italy.
Donald graduated from Syracuse University, Syracuse, New York. He wrote articles of the war for Syracuse, Post Standard, after he left the service.
He also studied in Mexico and lived in New Mexico for a time, painting life of the native people.
He came back to New York, painted some very lovely watercolor paintings but died soon after at the age of 38.
