Paul Grady England was born in Hugo, Oklahoma on January 12, 1918 and died in Rocky Point, New York on June 9, 1988. He graduated from Central High School, Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1936; earned a BA at Carnegie Institute of Technology, Pittsburgh, PA in 1940; M.A. at the University of Tulsa, Tulsa, Okla. in 1959. Additionally, he studied at the Art Students League, N.Y. between 1943-1946 and Zadkine Studio, Paris, France in 1948-49.
