| Rosanna E. Eckhardt was born in California on Aug. 19, 1896. Eckhardt studied at the San Francisco Institute of Art in 1910-11. She taught art in the public schools of San Francisco into the 1940s. A spinster, she died in San Mateo, CA on Oct. 13, 1978.
