|  Born in Germany and trained at the Munich Art Academy, Thomas Eggerer settled in Los Angeles. At the Academy in the mid 1990s, he collaborated with a classmate, Jochen Klein, on a series of conceptually oriented projects referencing identity and public space. In most of his works, the figure appears uneasy, out-of-place, which creates a visual and psychological tension. His primary medium is acrylic. |
