| | Born in Illinois on Nov. 4, 1857. Ada Ada Farnsworth moved to Iowa at an early age. She taught art there at the Corning Academy for several years before opening a studio in Lincoln, NE. After her marriage to Clark Champ in 1891, she moved to St Joseph, MO and soon thereafter to San Diego, CA.
