Adam Forfang is most noted for his still-life painting with the goal of
breathing new life, a bold contemporary look, into a centuries old
genre.
He was born into a creative family. His father was a designer,
and his mother a quilter and needlecraft professional. He began
drawing at an early age, and in highschool became inspired by the
painting of Spaniard Francisco Goya.
He graduated from the Academy of Art College in San Francisco in 2001,
