|  Alfie Fernandes was born in California. Fernandes studied in San Francisco at the Academy of Art. For the past 20 years he has created award-winning advertising for such companies as Bank of America, Gallo wine, Dreyers Ice Cream, and others while in his leisure painting fine art. His abstract works are designed to provoke thought and imagination. He currently lives in Berkeley, CA. (510) 407-1417. He is the son of an illustrator.
