This biography from the Archives of AskART:
Aline Feldman studied with Werner Drewes at Washington University in St. Louis from 1946-49 and earned a BS degree and did graduate work at Indiana University from 1951-53.  She studied woodcut and Sumi painting with Unichi Hiratsuka, a "living treasure" of Japan. She lived in Columbia, MD in 1988.
