| A painter in oil and watercolor, illustrator, sculptor and potter, Alta Fieselman was born in Hickman, Nebraska. She studied in Chicago with Meyer Both and at the University of Nebraska, and the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center with Frank Mechau and Henry Varnum Poor.
Exhibition venues include the Joslyn Art Museum, the Lincoln Artists Guild, and the Ogunquit, Maine Art Center.
