Born in Cold Brook, New York, Anna Fisher attended the Fairfield, New York Seminary and the Pratt Institute where she had a distinguished forty-year teaching career. As a painter, her specialty was watercolor, and her style was abstraction with subjects of still lifes and city scenes.
She has a long list of awards and exhibition credentials. She was a member and director of the Louis Comfort Tiffany Foundation. She won the Agar Prize from the National Association of Women Artists and the (showing 500 of 791 characters). |
