| Brian Fridge grew up in Red Oak, Texas. Graduated from Red Oak High School. Went to East Texas State University(Commerce A&M) then on to North Texas State where he graduated in 1994. He was selected for the 2000 Whitney Biennial. Fridge has exhibited his work in solo and group shows at the Arlington Museum of Art, ArtPace in San Antonio, the Couduit Gallery in Dallas, Gallery 414 in Fort Worth, the Good/Bad Art Collective in Denton, and the Hohenthal and Bergen gallery in Cologne, Germany, among others. In 1996, he received a grant from the Dallas Museum of Art Kimbrough Fund.
