Charles Augustus Federer (born: January 9, 1880, St. Louis Missouri-died: July 5, 1966, Danbury Connecticut)
He was the eldest child of Wilhelm Federer, and Agnes Fautz Federer. Wilhelm was born in Baden, Germany, and had come to the United States in 1868. He was a horse collar maker and a carriage trimmer. Agnes' parents also came from Germany, although she was born in Missouri.
