| The following information was submitted in August of 2006 by his granddaughter Nancy Fink Giacci: Denman Fink was also known for his portrait paintings. He designed the gates to Coral Gables as well as the Venetian Pool which is on the national historic Register. He taught art at the University of Coral Gables. He was instrumental in helping his nephew, George Merrick, in the creation of Coral Gables, Florida.
