Native Hoosier artist E. Roger Frey (1908 – 1999) enjoyed a long and varied career as a creative artist as well as an architectural historian and consultant. Best remembered now for his remarkable skills as a watercolorist both early-career and later, Frey played a significant role in Indiana’s contribution to mid-American Regionalism in the economically difficult years between the World Wars.
During the 1930s and early 40s, many artists found themselves drawn less to the nat (showing 500 of 23435 characters). |
