Born on March 1, 1867 in Atchinson, KS. Daisy Challiss attended the PAFA and School of Design for Women in Philadelphia. She wed Harry Faust in 1889 but was soon widowed. She then became a chiropractor but continued painting in her leisure. Primarily a portraitist, she also painted landscapes and coastals. She lived in Los Angeles from the early 1920s until the 1930s. Mrs. Faust died in New York in 1965.
