This biography from the Archives of AskART:
Eliza Farrar, the daughter of Jacob and Achsah Fisk Farrar of Rindge, New Hampshire, made an early town topographical view of Lowell, Massachusetts, which then was lithographed and published in 1834 by the firm of Pendleton's Lithography of Boston, established by William and John Pendleton, brothers.

Farrar is listed as being associated with the firm along with several other women and numerous men including Nathaniel Currier and Fitz Henry Lane, but the extent and duration of her affiliation seems unknown.

A Portrait of Eliza Ann Farrar was painted by itinerant portraitist Asahel Powers, and, before being auctioned in 2011, was in the collection of the Abby Aldrich Rockefeller Folk Art Center in Williamsburg, Virginia.

In 1839, Eliza married Isaac Makepeace Bassett, and they had seven children.  She died in 1863.
