The following is the text from the Distinguished Service Award given to Emil C. Fisher from Kansas State University at Manhattan, Kansas.  It was submitted September 2006, by Scott Wilder, researcher of Kansas and Missouri artists.


Emil C. Fischer was the guiding force behind the establishment of the Kansas State University College of Architecture, Planning, and Design.

Born in New Jersey in 1907, Fischer received his professional education at Columbia Univ (showing 500 of 3707 characters).
