Landscape painter Evangeline (Eva) Fowler was especially noted for her paintings of Texas and the West, although she also painted in New York. She was in France in the early 1890s, England in 1910, and the Continent in 1924. Her western painting titles include Glimpse of a Texas Ranch, and Among the Rockies.
Fowler was born on August 30, 1852, in Kingsville, Ohio, living briefly in Wisconsin before settling in the late 1850s, in Hillsdale, Michigan. Her art studi (showing 500 of 2432 characters). |
