| Born in Lima, OH on March 7, 1884. After moving to Los Angeles, Fisher opened a wallpaper-decorative art studio in 1912. He was kept busy painting ceilings and walls of theaters, churches, and homes in the area. In 1920 he relocated to Long Beach and built a studio-home at 4000 E. Second Street. He taught woodcarving at his studio for many years. In 1960 he retired to Palm Springs, CA and continued painting until his demise on Aug. 15, 1973. (showing 450 of 4258 characters). |
