This biography from the Archives of AskART:
|  Fred Fields began his education with private painting classes with German-born artist Anneliese Wharenburg. He later earned a degree in illustration from Central Academy of Commercial Art in Cincinnati. He worked as an illustrator for 15 years in advertising and the computer game industry.
In 2000 he moved to Phoenix, Arizona with his wife to pursue a career in fine arts.
