| George Francis Frederick was born in Urbana, IL on April 15, 1901. Frederick spent most of his career in Massachusetts in a studio on Martha’s Vineyard. About 1940 he moved to Santa Barbara, CA where he remained until his death on Nov. 20, 1985.
