| Hans M. Flato was born in Germany on October 23, 1887. Flato immigrated to te U.S. in 1910 and lived New York City into the 1930s. He created movie posters and ads for Harper’s Bazaar and Woman’s Home Companion. He died in Los Angeles on September 6, 1950.
