Jean Filhos 1921-2002
Born in France on March 10th 1921, he died in Bourges on August 25, 2002. He initially studied architecture, which he was forced to abandon by the war. Then he worked as an architect, while developing an interest in sculpture. From 1958 onwards he worked primarily as a sculptor and goldsmith.
His first sculptures were in bronze (lost wax technique), but since 1960 Jean Filhos used synthetic resins, which gave him a greater free (showing 500 of 2995 characters). |
