| | Born in San Francisco, CA on Oct. 16, 1910. Finlayson was educated in Scotland and studied there at the Glasgow School of Art. Returning to her native city in 1929, she continued her studies for several years at the CCAC. In 1934 she married writer Charles O. Holmes and during the Depression worked for the WPA. The years 1946-55 were again spent in Scotland. After her divorce, in 1959 she married Dr. Carl LeBlanc and settled in Marin County, CA where she remained until her demise in Greenbrae on Oct. 28, 1987. Member: SF Women Artists.
