| | Born in Bralia, Romania on Feb. 15, 1880. After studying in Europe and at the AIC, Mrs. Flournoy arrived in Los Angeles in 1916 and was head of the Hollywood Art School in 1929. In 1931 she settled in Vista in San Diego County where she remained until her death on Aug. 22, 1958. She painted florals and produced batiks and tapestries. | Source:
