| | Born in Brooklyn, NY on Sept. 27, 1916. After graduating from the Pratt Institute in NYC, Fischetti moved to Los Angeles in the late 1930s to work for Disney Studios and as an illustrator for the Times. He later worked for papers in NYC and Chicago, and won a Pulitzer Prize for his cartoon in 1969.
