The following information was submitted in November of 2006 by Jackie Heinl: Frank C. Kirk was born on May 11, 1889 in Zitomir, Russia and studied at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art in Philadelphia under Daniel Garber, Celia Beaux and Hugh Breckenridge. At PAFA he won the Crescent Travel Scholarship.
Mr. Kirk exhibited nationally and was a member of the Connecticut Academy of Fine Art, the Society of Washington Artists, Audubon Artists, Boston Art Club, Allied Ar (showing 500 of 1465 characters). |
