| | Born in Italy in 1881. By 1912 Fighiera had a studio in Los Angeles where he produced busts, statues, and bas-relief placques. In 1922 he relocated to San Francisco where he ran the Mont Martre Art School while producing statuettes of Chinese children å la Esther Hunt. He died in Oakland on Nov. 23, 1938.
