Lisbeth Firmin is a full-time painter and printmaker working within a long tradition of figurative American realism and impressionism. Her subject matter is the human figure and its relationship to its urban environment. Her main concern is always capturing the light of a given moment. Firmin's work depicts contemporary life and explores modern themes of solitude and isolation.
