| | Born in New York in 1923, Finkelstein studied painting at Cooper Union, The Art Students' League, and Brooklyn Museum Art School. He has taught at Brooklyn Museum Art School, Philadelphia College of Art, School of Art and Architecture, Queens College, and Yale University, and has written several critical articles on art which have been published in Magazine of Art, Art News, and Art Forum. His paintings have been shown in forums such as Yale University, New York Studio School, Riverside Museum, Whitney Museum Corcoran Gallery, and Pennsylvania Academy |
