| | Born in Utah on July 13, 1878. Farnsworth grew up in Salt Lake City and first studied art with her cousin, Lee Greene Richards. She continued at the ASL of NYC and in Paris where she was influenced by the Fauves. While a resident of Los Angeles in the 1930s, she made painting trips to the Sierra. She died in Salt Lake City in May 1969.
