The youngest of four children in a secular family, Ferguson grew up in the heart of heavily Jewish Woodmere, Long Island. Almost from the start, he dabbled in the visual arts. When he was twelve, he began drawing animated films. At nineteen he went to Amsterdam to study animation, but instead spent a lot of time at the Rijksmuseum. Deeply (showing 500 of 1935 characters).
